Weekly Workshop Projects

The Kaos Organisation aims to make its activities accessible to anyone who wants to participate. We have a 'no audition' policy and previous experience is not necessary. We do our utmost to ensure that no-one is prevented from attending through financial constraints and operate a sliding scale of charges accordingly.

Our workshops are designed to encourage less confident personalities to flourish, whilst channelling the energies of the more ‘flamboyant’! Grounded in a fundamental belief in the vital importance of the creative arts, with a practical ethos of creativity, communication and co-operation, we endeavour to achieve excellence through teamwork and fun!

The Kaos Organisation workshop programme covers:
acting and performance skills
singing, signing and songwriting (including lyric writing and arrangement)
stage combat
physical theatre skills
dance
circus skills
devising and writing
visual art (using primarily recycled materials)
prop and costume design and construction
stage management and general theatrecraft

We provide the following weekly workshops:

Organised Kaos for 7 to 12 year-olds
Mondays 4 to 6pm at The Friends Meeting House, Church Crescent, Muswell Hill N10
Thursdays 4 to 6pm at St. Mary’s School, Hornsey High Street, N8
(£8 / £6 / £4 concs. per session)

Kids Kaos for 4 to 7 year-olds
Tuesdays 4 to 5pm at The Friends Meeting House, Church Crescent, Muswell Hill N10
(£6 / £4 concs. per session)

Kaos Youth Music Theatre Company for 12 to 18 year-olds
Fridays 5 to 7 pm at Jacksons Lane Community Centre, Archway Road N6
