weekly workshops
The Kaos Organisation aims to make its activities accessible to anyone who wants
to participate. We have a 'no audition' policy and previous experience is not necessary. Our workshops are designed to encourage less confident personalities to flourish, whilst channelling the energies of the
more ‘flamboyant’! Grounded in a fundamental belief in the vital importance
of the creative arts, with a practical ethos of creativity, communication and co-operation,
we endeavour to achieve excellence through teamwork and fun!
The Kaos workshop programme covers:
• acting and performance skills
• singing, signing and songwriting
• stage combat
• physical theatre skills
• dance
• circus skills
• devising and writing
• visual art (using primarily recycled materials)
• prop & costume design & construction
• stage management
& general theatrecraft
New Year’s Eve 2999.
In a world where happiness in the here-and-now is what’s important, Mrs. Macassar seems to be the only one worrying about the future. No-one believes in anything outside the material world any more, so the Celestial Arts Council and the Department of Infernal Affairs had better get moving on some PR, because if Diana Mundo (Earth Leader) has her way, The Project will ensure that they are forgotten completely. Live from day to day. There is no more to life than life itself.
Or is there..?

"Kaos is clearly about enabling children. They have found potential in mine that may not have been picked up at school and have helped them overcome many obstacles and gain confidence.
The team's magical combination of skill and enthusiasm has earned the childrens' respect and loyalty... it's not just a drama class, it's more like a second family."

The place - New Britain.
The year - 2077.
New Britain's economy is booming.
Style and Sport are the order of the day.
Cosmatron – an interactive combat game – is the country’s national sport. The only problem is, girls are banned from playing. Victoria Noble, daughter of Overseer Zacharius Noble, is determined to rectify the situation. With the help of her adopted brother and friend, Jacob Venables, she starts a campaign for the ban to be lifted. Will it succeed? Not if Deputy Overseer Judith Lear has anything to do with it.
In a country where all society’s ills have been cured, it’s not easy to complain without being sent straight to Hope’s End. It’s all about playing the game…
