The Kaos Organisation is a Youth
Arts Charity based in Haringey,
North London. We run weekly workshops and holiday arts projects
and regularly stage performances, concerts and multi-media projects created especially by and for young people. We also facilitate workshops
for schools and youth organisations.
Our workforce comprises a team of highly qualified and experienced practitioners from the fields of
Education and the Arts.
We also run integrated activities for
deaf and hearing children and young adults, notably The Kaos Signing Choir.
We have an established Deaf Awareness programme. All of our weekly workshop participants learn to sing and sign Songs of Kaos and all our productions are Sign Language interpreted. Fifteen hearing young people passed Level 1 BSL after attending Kaos’s ‘Hands Up’ British Sign Language Course. Several have now gone on to Level 2 BSL.
One of our students has gone on to university to read Deaf Studies and another is now a Communication Support Worker with hearing- and
deaf-blind people.

This choir uniquely gives both deaf and hearing children the opportunity to come together and sing.
